BtVS: The Game
"Step into the shoes of Buffy Summers, popular high school student by day, destroyer of the undead by night. Secure your standing as The Chosen One in this third-person action/adventure game by vanquishing legions of monsters using over 60 fighting moves and combinations, and a select arsenal of slayer weaponry. Punch, kick, and stake your way through familiar Sunnydale locations like the sunken church, Sunnydale High School, and the Bronze nightclub where you match wits with enemies such as Matereani, Rhakshasa, Spike, and The Master. If you run into trouble, your Watcher Giles and friends Willow, Cordelia, and Xander are on-hand to assist you. Start sharpening your stake. It's up to you to save the world."
Voices of favorite characters from the TV series including Angel, Xander, Willow, Cordelia, Spike, the Master and Giles are featured in the game to help Buffy rid the world of evil.
Players fight a range of enemies including Spike, The Master, Drusilla, demons, zombies and other supernatural creatures that threaten mankind.
All of Buffy's favorite haunts are richly detailed: Sunnydale High School, the cemetery, The Bronze nightclub and the library, which is the portal that sits on top of the Hellmouth.
Special supernatural effects such as morphing creatures, eldritch explosions, dynamic fogging and arcane spellcasting enhance the dark, mythical setting of the game.
An intelligent combat system allows enemies to perform counter attacks and learn from character's fighting techniques.
The Buffy game is soon to be released for X-Box only. Originally the game was planned to be for Playstation and PC, but that all changed... There were rumours of a PC version being released, but nothing is definite. As you can see from the email below, they really changed their plans... It's released two years after schedule, and for a completely different platform...
